First of all, why do we use present tense with something that we did already?
(watching the video)

My answer:

I think he used positive and negative adjectives to teach us more new different English words.

But if i will be more precise .. we're learn howcan we describe ourselves.

2- He used 12 positive adjectives and 12 negative adjectives.

Peace be upon you
nice to be with you in this course

He is talking about adjectives to describe people: our self or people we know
He used twenty four adjectives
He started first with positive traits and then negative traits
The positive traits he mentioned are:

adventurous
persistent
eloquent
cautious
expensive
meticulous
sociable
forceful
jovial
disciplined
humanitarian
compassionate

I just want to mention that I don't agree with horoscope because it is prohibited in our religion
