The Aims of
teaching English this year:
A) The students ( or pupils ) will be able to:
1. Pronounce the new vocabulary correctly.
2. Put the new vocabulary in correct sentences.
3. Read English sentences correctly.
4. Form English sentences in the ( present , past , future ) tense correctly.
5. Form English questions in the ( present , past , future ) tense correctly.
6. Write a paragraph in different subjects correctly.
7. * for the talented students : prepare and present lessons in front of their classmates *
B) The techniques:
1. Chorus and an individual drill.
2. Backward drilling for the long sentences.
3. explaining
4. six thinking hats.
C) Teaching Aids:
The board, posters, flashcards, the pocket chart (The Pocket Chart….
It’s a devise for dramatizing word order by taking word cards and pinning them in rows of narrow pockets) the tape recorder , the projector, and the computer if available.
D) Activities:
1. Worksheets of exercises such as ( filling spaces , arranging words and sentences )
2. Games
